Paul leaves behind a loving wife Daisy

Much loved children Paul, Bernard (Bimbo), Stepchildren Annie, Grace, Elizabeth, Henry and Elaine. Daughter-in-laws Borka and Elisa, Sons-in-laws Jimmy, Pat and John

Much loved Grandad and Papa Paul to his 20 Grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren

Sisters Bernie , Mary and their families

Paul sadly suffered a massive stroke in June 2007 but battled on very bravely for 6 months and sadly fell asleep on 7th December 2007 aged 72, just 4 days short of his 73rd birthday on 11th December. He was a character and will be very sorely missed by all his loving family and friends. He was a regular at the Corby Labour Club at weekends for a few drinks and a game of bingo.

He was in the RAF for 5 years working in mountain rescue, then he settled in Corby. He has worked over the years in the steelworks, Social Services and most recently after he retired was a taxi driver, as he couldn't stand being bored.

Life won't be the same without our Paddy around but at least he is no longer suffering.

RIP until we meet again xxxx

NEXT TO YOU

You cannot see or touch me
But I'm standing next to you.
Your tears can only hurt me,
Your sadness makes me blue,
Be brave and show a smiling face
Let not your grief show through
I love you from a different place,
Yet I 'm standing next to you.

We love and miss you still Paul, hope you and Mum are dancing in the clouds. God Bless xxx

Beautiful poem

They are not dead,
Who leave us this great heritage of remembering joy.

They still live in our hearts,
In the happiness we knew, in the dreams we shared.

They still breathe,
In the lingering fragrance, windblown, from their favourite flowers.

They still smile in the moonlight’s silver,
And laugh in the sunlight’s sparking gold.

They still speak in the echoes of the words we’ve heard them say again and again.

They still move,
In the rhythm of waving grasses, in the dance of the tossing branches.

They are not dead;
Their memory is warm in our hearts, comfort in our sorrow.

They are not apart from us, but part of us,

For love is eternal,
And those we love shall be with us throughout all eternity

Happy Fathers Day

If roses grow in Heaven, Lord, pick a bunch for me
~Place them in my Father's arms tell him they're from me ~Tell him
that I love & miss him & when he turns to smile ~place a kiss
upon his cheek hold him for a while. Because remembering him is easy i do it everyday-love and miss you Paddy xXx

As Christmas time approaches
We miss you more and more
Memories of past Yule times
We always will adore
We still hang the decorations
Put the lights upon the tree
We hang the cards upon the wall
This one's for you, you see
Even though you are not here
You're always in our hearts
So we remember you this Christmas
While we're temporarily apart.
